I gotta tell you it’s a real jungle out there when it comes to Costa Rica vacation site competition. I have been arranging Costa Rica vacations now for 10 years and I have never experienced this level of cut-throat competition.

But wait, maybe things aren’t exactly as dire as they seem. After all, not all of the Costa Rica vacation interested are a good fit for Package Costa Rica. In fact, probably most aren’t. And for those that are, maybe we are better competitively positioned than those other “corporate” guys.

Here’s some brutally honest Costa Rica vacation advice for ya…

I have said it before and I will say it again, if you’re looking simply to fly into Costa Rica, grab some form of transportation and park yourself in the proverbial “condo by the beach” sipping mai-tai’s from a lounge chair for a week, then Package Costa Rica is admittedly NOT the right vacation planner to use. By all means, grab one of those flight and hotel deals that you see on Travelocity, or whatever mega-corporate-site.

Package Costa Rica is all about the custom designed Costa Rica EXPERIENCE. We love this country too much and get too big a kick out of sharing it with others to recommend all-inclusive-reclusive type stays that really miss the point. But wait, I can hear people thinking (yes I have that ability, some times)…you don’t understand I am STRESSED OUT and need to just sit and relax and hear crashing waves and feel soft warm tropical breezes. That’s it…that is what I want my “experience” of Costa Rica to be…Costa Rica Guy! Great…then don’t call us.  To be frank, you don’t need Costa Rica for that, since you could get it in a whole host of other places.

If you want to experience Costa Rica…really get down and dirty with it…then the flight plus hotel “deal” ain’t gonna provide the opportunity…trust me. It requires boots on the ground and they don’t have that…we do. We are here. We have been here for ages. And we love the place enough to have experienced pretty much all it has to offer…multiple times. So are we in a better position to guide you in your own experience of Costa Rica?  Bluntly, but honestly, hell yea!

But you gotta want what we have to offer. You gotta want to see Costa Rica, to feel it, to breathe it, taste it, and get kicked in the ass by it. If that is what appeals to you and I know it won’t to everyone, then by all means give us a call. We’ll design a Costa Rica experience that those other guys couldn’t even attempt to put together.
