Introducing Costa Rica Vacation Consulting

Since the first vacation I designed and managed back in early 2004 I have been doing it the same way. That is getting paid a retail rate from my customer and paying a wholesale rate to my vendors.

That’s the classic middle-man approach.

Well, that approach has fallen by the wayside these days. And it’s no wonder, the internet is the greatest middle-man eliminator ever invented.

So, I started looking for a better way a while back and I believe I’ve come up with one.

I call it Costa Rica Vacation Consulting…catchy, eh?

It works like this…

(1) I design the Costa Rica vacation of your dreams…

(2) You agree to it (we tweak it as often as needed to get to that point of agreement)…

(3) I set up all the reservations and provide you with clear instructions on paying them directly with your credit card, directly to the vendors…

(4) I serve as your in-country resource before and during the trip, should any issues arise…

(5) For all this, you pay me a consulting fee and that’s it!

Sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it?

What are the advantages of doing it this way. Well, I can think of many, like…

(1) the security of being in control of how your money is spent, rather than trusting a stranger to spend it correctly for you…

(2) and in knowing exactly what you are paying for what, i.e., no hidden fees, or profit margins…

(3) the ability to time payments to your liking, rather than paying one complete upfront sum, as some components of the package can even be paid after arrival…

(4) the ability to take advantage of promotional discounts that vendors only offer on direct sales…

(5) and you still have Costa Rica Guy on the line to help make sure your Costa Rica vacation experience is outstanding!

I charge consulting fees on the following sliding scale…

-for packages with a total price not exceeding $4,000 – $400

-for packages exceeding $4,000 and less than $10,000 – $650

-for packages exceeding $10,000 – $850
