We decided to take a trip to Costa Rica 5 weeks before we wanted to leave. Scott and PackageCostaRica were essential in helping us to plan the perfect vacation. Whether it was customizing our vacation package (a few times), connecting us with amazing tour guides, and even providing multiple payment options, Scott was committed to helping us having a great trip. When we had a hiccup over one of our reservations, Scott was immediately available by phone to help resolve this issue — at 8:30 am. We travel often, and I always look for a travel guide that will first ask what we’re looking for, rather than just telling us what they will do. My initial discussion with Scott assured me that he was completely focused on meeting our travel wishes. Our first trip to Costa Rica was in 2012, and we had such a good experience that my brother and sister-in- law booked a trip with Scott shortly thereafter.

The hotels he picked out and the adventures were perfect for us. We enjoyed our trip so much that we returned in 2014, again booking through Scott. We just returned from our third trip, and every single detail was taken care of. Any and all questions and itinerary changes have always been promptly addressed. It’s wonderful to go on a completely stress-free vacation, knowing that Scott has thought of everything!

The La Mansion Inn was unbelievable.  Our room (The Cousteau Room) was one of the nicest I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 23 years.  We have no idea how you were able to secure that room for us as we were blown away!  That was a nice surprise. My Husband ran across your website and saw  “Pure Adrenaline Package to Costa Rica”. Only booking this package a month and a half away and not having time to do my homework prior, I had to rely upon Scott. From the moment we called Scott, He answered any and all of our questions we had, and boy did I have a lot. Not only was I booking this package for myself but for another family whom trusted me with my judgment. We upgraded our hotels to accommodate a family of five. Scott ensured me, I wouldn’t be disappointed. He was right. There wasn’t a time he didn’t pick up the phone when i called. From the moment we got off the plane, Hiney was awaiting for us. Very spacious 15 pgr van, clean and comfortable for all 8 of us. We were on our way. 1st stop was La Fortuna Area. Hotel Los Lagos in Arenal was fabulous, the grounds were kept immaculate, the volcano view was to die for, the Breakfast buffet was the best out of all hotels we stayed at and the pool was spring fed. Wished we had stayed an extra night there to enjoy the hotel (busy with excursions -Hot Springs was a great way to end the first night, Repelling (took our breath away), Zip Lining was good. Next stop was Manuel Antonio. We stayed at La Mariposa. It was rated (in 2009) one of the top Hotels you must see before dying. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was good. Fourtrax was the operator whom did our ATV Adventure. They were awesome. The last hotel was Best Western Irazu in San Jose. The rooms were small with double beds but was still nice and clean. Breakfast vouchers were unrealistic at Denny’s and was limited. To purchase a full American breakfast would have been $12.00US per person. Subway was across the street. White River Rafting on the Pacuare River was spectacular. This package was definitely an Adrenaline Package. Both families agree this was the Best Vacation we’ve taken, thanks to Scott with Package Costa Rica.

Thanks to you and Pablo, my friends and I had an amazing adventure in Costa Rica. The tour companies you chose were top notch. Even the transportation from city to city was fun, as the drivers stopped to show us the best views, cafes and wildlife.

I have traveled extensively and I would have to say that canyoning down the waterfalls was one of the best experiences of my life. The ziplines and horseback riding were not far behind. As I mentioned to you before, the staff at Hotel California was composed of some of the most hospitable, gracious and friendly people I have ever met in my entire life.

The price was more than fair, your itinerary was expertly planned and the bottom line for me was that we didn’t really have to worry about anything- it was all taken care of and it was a vacation of a lifetime!

Scott’s group is top -notch. Their advice and set-up for our trip was excellent. We told them the types of activities we enjoyed, and they recommended an itinerary. Most of our correspondence was with Matt . He is wonderful !  He had to change some things due to our change in dates, which he did promptly and satisfactorily.  I will summarize below:
Picked up @ airport…on time… and taken to our hotel. We were provided w/ a packet w/ vouchers to be given to all the personnel providing transportation  and  pre-planned activities. Very organized! All hotels originally booked  for us were 4 or 5 stars…but our change of schedule…resulted in one change to a 3 star. All hotel personnel were friendly, spoke English, and were cheerful and accommodating. The staffs would call taxis and make reservations at restaurants and provide estimates of cost. We always felt safe at the hotels, in taxis, on the prearranged tours and in the local towns and villages. The meals provided in our package were outstanding. We were picked up at each hotel for the tours in our package and returned to the hotel. We were picked up at our hotels to move from one city to the next. The transport companies providing this service were reliable and ON TIME! And there were numerous connections to boats, hikes, spa, etc.  BUT so smooth! The communication and follow-up to our questions prior to our trip was immediate and most helpful. Our trip was 10 days (that was our decision). We wish we had been there 14 days….felt we needed an extra day at most of our places and not have to move so often. These folks know Costa Rica and they are GOOD at what they do …1st class operation …and they make arrangements with other top -notch organizations. Absolutely have nothing negative to say. I feel sure you will be pleased with the service and accommodations Scott’s company can organize for you.

We loved all the tours: the waterfall rappelling, the ziplining, the kayaking at Damas Island and especially the whitewater rafting. What was so impressive was the transportation for each tour. We were picked up at our hotel at the precise times we were told. The transport to other cities was equally as timely. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that we didn’t have to be concerned about getting from place to place. Everything went so smoothly! Thanks for the follow-up. We arrived home safely less one bag of luggage which was delivered the next day; No big deal…just a bunch of dirty clothes and minus 2 bottles of hot sauce (confiscated at U.S. Customs). Bummer!!

Our time in Costa Rica was incredibly fun and educational for the whole family. We had a great experience!!! Thank you again for doing such a great job putting together a fun-packed variety of activities, outstanding accommodations, and your own personal touch of airport greetings and private transfers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to re-visit beautiful Costa Rica at some point in the future.

Scott helped to customize my itinerary to my schedule and needs so I could enjoy it to the fullest.  The hotels are clean, spacious, and offer great services.  One of my activities had a problem as it required at least two people to function, but Scott and Pablo substituted with another similar activity.  Package Costa Rica’s customer service is excellent as a result.  Costa Rica is a beautiful country with many excellent activities, friendly people, and great food.  I look forward to visiting Costa Rica soon again through Package Costa Rica.  Pura Vida!

We got back yesterday, and, in the words of my fifteen-year-old daughter: Costa Rica was amazing! We had a great time, and the schedule was filled with lots of adventure and enough down time to rest and explore in between.

I really liked the voucher system. It simplified things so much by making arrangements quicker and avoiding carrying around a lot of money. Everyone we met was so friendly and made us feel special. All the drivers were there on time. All of the hotels were great, and the guides for canyoning, ziplining, the biological reserve, and rafting were outstanding!!

Thanks so much for making it possible for us to squeeze this in before school starts tomorrow! I would highly recommend Package Costa Rica to friends.

Thanks for planning a great adventure in Costa Rica.. Sorry it has taken us so long to thank you. We were very impressed with your promptness in answering our calls. Our connecting flight from Dallas to San Jose was delayed and you did a tremendous job in rescheduling our first day activities in La Fortuna.  Also, thanks for changing the itinerary to fit in whitewater rafting on the Naranjo River.and ziplining in Monteverde Cloud Forest. It was such a thrill ziplining over the Cloud forest. Our itinerary was well organized including the hotels in each of the cities we visited and for all the transportation between La Fortuna, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio and San Jose.  We enjoyed our guided tours of the rain and cloud forests as well as a walking tour near the Arenal volcano in La Fortuna. It was great seeing monkeys up close while we were eating our breakfast at the Hotel Costa Verde. We would highly recommend you to friends and family who are planning a trip to Costa Rica.

Hi Scott,

I am trying to go to the testimonial page to post our experience. We can’t stop talking about it and I can’t wait to develop our pictures. Thank-you so much for a wonderful trip. My husband and I are celebrating our 25th this year and we are so glad we choose Costa Rica but more importantly your company.

The trip was great, the hotels, the transportation, the activities, the food, and the people. We make it a pact to eat the local food when we travel and loved the Costa Rican flavor. Our favorite stop was Arenal, the hotel Arenal Nayara is with a doubt the most beautiful place we have ever been too!!. The views of the volcano were stunning and the grounds of the hotel were awesome. The staff amazing polite and went out of there way to make our stay memorable and it ws.

The white water rafting was the best we have ever done and we have been on a number of them. However, the rappel/zip line in Arenal was our favorite. The staff (thanks Christian) views of the waterfalls, the rappelling down it was scary yet exciting, then to get to climb back up it to zip down was a treat. Top it off with a visit to an Indian tribe there on site and a short horseback ride was a day to remember. Before we headed off, they provided us a true Costa Rica lunch…chicken, rice and black beans.  The flavors…WOW

We then headed off to the beaches of Manual Antonio for the last three days and we enjoyed the stay there. We visited the National Park and took lots of pictures of sloths, monkeys, lizards, birds & bugs. To spend the afternoon in the jungle and take in all the beauty is hard to put into words, and the pictures don’t give it the justice it deserves. The trees are so tall and the the private beach coves again amazing.

I guess our word for the trip is amazing. Thanks Matt so much for a wonderful vacation and we have and will gladly pass your company along to everyone who asked.
