Arenal and Dominical Combo
A variation of our traditional Highlights Tour, the Arenal and Southern Pacific combo takes you a bit further south to Dominical. The Southern Zone is one of Costa Rica’s most preserved areas, where modern development has not reached to the extent of other areas such as the Central and Northern Pacific. This area opens up hidden touristic gems such as Marina Ballena National Park and Caños Island, as well as many others.
Arenal and Dominical Combo Itinerary
Day 1. We will greet you upon arrival at the San Jose Airport (SJO) and transport you privately to La Fortuna, the area of the Arenal Volcano. There you will check into one of the areas best hotels. Breakfast is included.
Day 2. In the morning enjoy an exciting Canopy (“zip-line”) tour. Later that evening you will take a Volcano Hike and afterwards visit the Hot Springs where you will have dinner included.
Day 3. You will take a tourist transfer to Dominical on the Southern Pacific where you will check in at one of the areas best hotels. Breakfast is included.
Day 4. Take a guided kayak tour of the Marina Ballena National Park.
Day 5. Boat cruise to Caños Island where you will be treated to some of Costa Rica’s best snorkeling. Lunch is included.
Day 6. Tourist transport back to San Jose for your last night. Breakfast is included.
Day 7. Take the hotel shuttle to the San Jose Airport for your flight home.
