Costa Rica Eco Tour tinerary
Day 1. A company representative will be waiting for you upon your arrival at the San Jose airport (SJO) to transport you to one of the city’s best hotels. Breakfast is included.
Day 2. Today will start the most extraordinary jungle adventure, the 3 days / 2 nights all Inclusive Tortuguero National Park Tour. The park consists of a navigable network of lakes and channels parallel to the coast with a great scenic beauty and is home to a dazzling degree of biodiversity surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Tortuguero is considered the most important nesting site on the western half of the Caribbean for the highly endangered green turtle that comes to the beach to nest every year from July to October. All meals,transportation and canal tours are included during your stay in Tortuguero.
Day 3. After breakfast, enjoy nature at its best as you undertake a journey through the canals. You will have a chance to observe several species of monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, iguanas, parrots, macaws, toucans and much more.
Day 4. You return to San Jose. Once there you will check-in at your hotel. Evening on your own.
Day 5. We will take you to the airport to take a domestic flight to Drake Bay, the gateway to Corcovado National Park, one of the most biodiverse locations on Earth. There you will check-in at one of the areas most scenic hotels. All meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included with your stay.
Day 6. Enjoy a tour deep into the heart of Corcovado National Park to the renowned Sirena Station. Sirena is one of the best locations in the country for viewing exotic wildlife. You may even get lucky enough to see and photo a jungle cat…from a distance, of course. You reach Sirena by boat and then embark on a 3 hour hike led by a naturalist bilingual guide. Lunch is included.
Day 7. Today you take a domestic flight back to San Jose. We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in San Jose. Breakfast is included.
Day 8. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the San Jose airport for your flight home.
